The History of Human Health, Disease, and the Environment (H3DE) is a project to map the pathogenic landscape in past centuries in order to shed light on current health challenges and emergent threat of infectious disease.
Scholarize worked with the H3DE team to determine the project’s needs. Together, we determined the overall goal: Create a website to showcase an International academic research project funded by R1 universities and grants.
The work Scholarize completed included: Domain selection and registration; creating a clean logo design to reflect the project’s name; selecting a WordPress theme; designing and building the entire website, including all pages and featured content items; creating of social media accounts (Twitter and Instagram); integrating of social media accounts into the website; conducting a full review and copyediting all written content.
After deciding on and registering a domain, the Scholarize team created a simple, scalable logo for H3DE.
With a logo in place, the website design followed suit. Sans serif fonts, clean geometric layout, sidebars for social media integration, and a prominently place section for featured content to highlight H3DE’s most recent and relevant articles.

Whether you are an individual academic, running a full department or a scholarly journal, or heading up a project team, Scholarize has the experience to design and deploy your website, and integrate your social media accounts into that website.
